PYO Strawberries Stay tuned for 2013 dates!

Oakridge Farms is thrilled to offer pick-your-own strawberries.  We invite you to continue the tradition or start a new tradition with your family and friends of enjoying strawberries fresh from the field.  The season is short but sweet beginning in June and continuing through early July.

Please remember to bring sun protection and drinking water, as field conditions can be hot.  Rubber boots or old shoes are also recommended during a wet summer.

Oakridge Farms provides picking containers at no charge, but you are certainly welcome to bring your own. Ice cream buckets or beach buckets make great picking containers, especially for kids.

Plan at least one hour for your visit, the length of your visit can vary based on how busy we are and picking conditions.

PYO Raspberries

Stay tuned for 2013 dates!

Just as we enjoy the last days of strawberry picking, the raspberries are ready to be picked.  Oakridge Farms is home to one of the largest raspberry plantings in the state and we invite you to return to the farm for pick-your-own raspberries.

Oakridge Farms is a family farm and welcomes families and children, however raspberry picking is more time consuming than strawberry picking and the plants do have thorns.  For these reasons, raspberry picking may not be suitable for very young children.  Please keep this in mind when planning your visit!

Oakridge Farms provides picking containers, but you are welcome to bring your own.  Pint yogurt containers or shallow tupperware containers are perfect for picking containers.

When in season, availability is dependent on weather and crop yields.  Raspberries are a more sensitive crop than strawberries, therefore days and times subject to change with availability, please call ahead.

ALWAYS call ahead before planning your visit (920)725-1541 and sign up for our mailing list to stay informed.
