Oakridge Farms Update

Strawberries are abundant at Oakridge Farms!  This season is very early this year and you don't want to miss it.  In other words, don't wait! 

PICK-YOUR-OWN strawberries opens EVERYDAY at 7am.  The first wagon to take you to the strawberry field will leave at 7am and the wagons run continuously throughout the day. The cost is $1.45/#. Picking containers are provided free of charge, but you are welcome to bring your own.  Ice cream buckets or other pails work great. Please remember we DO NOT accept debit or credit cards, we glady accept cash or check!

We also have plenty of pre-picked berries available for $4.50/qt and $34.00/flat.  Additionally, we offer "day-old" berries at half price, this is a great economical option for making jam or processing berries.

We are expecting temperatures in the 80's this weekend so we do suggest an early start to avoid the heat of the day.  Depending on weather, we often have to cool the berries down with irrigation in the afternoon and will stop running wagons.  We have fields within walking distance so picking will continue, but if a tractor ride is important to you please call to see if they are still running.

Don't forget to bring sun protection and drinking water, the sun is quite intense with the reflective properties of the straw.
